Growing Success Slug Killer Advanced is a blue pellet containing Ferric Phosphate, which is a naturally occurring active ingredient. The pellets can be used as a bait for the control of slugs on bare soil and for all plants including both edible and non-edible plant varieties.

When to Use

• Apply during spring, early summer, and also in early autumn.


• When slug attack is heavy, it may be necessary to repeat the application


• Slugs are most active in mild damp weather especially after rain or after watering the garden. This is the best time to apply Growing Success Slug Killer.


• Applications are also best made during the evening before slugs come out to feed.

How to Use

• Evenly scatter the pellets around edible and non-edible plants in your garden (e.g. hostas, strawberries, lettuce, bedding plants etc.) at 5g per square metre. Repeat the treatment if necessary to maintain the control of slugs. Do not apply more than a maximum of 4 treatments per crop.


• Children, pets and wildlife don’t need to be excluded from the treated areas, as long as it’s applied as per the advice on the label
