Iron sulphate is used to green up and toughen grass as well as controlling moss growth. You are able to use this high quality iron formulation all year round, however it is particulaty beneficial during colder spells of weather, as it will also help to strengthen the plant against frost and disease. Iron is absorbed by the leaf, which then gives rapid results. It has also been known to blacken moss within hours of application. Iron sulphate is fully dis-solvable in water although good agitation is strongly recommended so then blocked nozzles are avoided. This product is ideal for treating large areas such as horse paddocks & amenity areas. You are able to use a knapsack or boom sprayer to apply the sulphate of iron, this also ensures there is a good coverage of the grass and moss. Use 500L of water per hectare to help improve the coverage of thicker grass.
